About This Property

Rosslyn is approached by a private drive leading to a parking area with ample parking for several cars. The whole property has a bright and airy feel with an emphasis on pale fresh colours in all of the rooms. On the ground floor is the main reception room which has a sofa and an arm chair arranged around a working log burning stove.  There is a small flat panel TV and a selection of board games in the cupboard beneath. The rest of the ground floor is taken up with a large open plan kitchen, dining  and seating area/ day room. A perfect place for lively mealtimes or relaxing in front of the larger flat panel TV mounted on the wall above the corner sofas and armchair. Again the decor is tasteful and fresh with wooden floors and seaside colours on the soft furnishings. The kitchen includes a Rayburn, as well as a free standing cooker and hob. There is also an American style fridge freezer. French doors open off this room onto the terrace, with outside dining furniture and a barbecue.

From the terrace you step onto the large south facing garden with play equipment including; a trampoline with safety enclosure, an elevated wooden playhouse, slides and swings.  This garden is surrounded by a wooden fence. There are outbuilding to the rear of the property where you will find the washing machine and a tumble dryer. The out buildings are a handy place to store bikes and surf boards if you so wish.

Upstairs there are three roomy bedrooms. The two king sized bedrooms have views out over the countryside to the sea, both are bright and airy with plenty of storage. One of the rooms has a flat panel TV. The third bedroom, another bright fresh room, has two bunk beds, sleeping four people. The family bathroom is nicely finished. It has a claw foot bath with an electric shower over it. There is a wash hand basin and WC.

The closest beach is Mewslade. The walk is an easy downhill stroll that takes about ten minutes. It is a very pretty walk through woodland and then via a grassy path through a dramatic limestone valley. There is a rocky gully as you reach the beach where small children may need to be carried. This beach is completely covered at high tide but, with the famous Rhossili Bay is just a stones throw away, there no shortage of golden sand to enjoy.
