360 Watersport's Centre and Cafe Accessibility

360 Beach and Watersports is a unique multisport facility situated at the heart of Swansea Bay. This new centre is ideally placed on the promenade which runs the length of Swansea bay halfway between the village of Mumbles and the Maritime Quarter, Swansea’s historic marina and dock. It’s cafe bar enjoys wonderful panoramic views of the bay it is a great place to relax over lunch or a capuccino and watch the waves. Of course the real reason for visiting the centre is to get active in the waves. The 360 centre is all about watersports, beach sports and outdoor fun providing tuition and equipment hire to the experts and first timers. There are changing facilities and Changing Places toilet.

Changing Places Facilities are for people with profound learning disabilities, physical and other serious impairments. With 12m² floor space the facility provides extra features and more space than regular disabled toilets, thus ensuring the needs of both users and carers are met. Our facility includes a full room cover automatic tracked hoist system, an adult sized height adjustable showering / changing bench and a separate shower unit, a toilet, large power-assisted height-adjustable washbasin, safety alarm and retractable privacy curtain, along with all the extras you would expect in a facility of this type.

The changing places facility is clearly signed on the exterior of the building and is available for use during 360 opening hours; this ensures we can provide a safe and clean environment for your use. Keys for this facility are available from the 360 Cafe Bar.  Please note you will need to provide your own sling for the hoist, the hoist is suitable for use with a hook and loop system sling.

The Building has been designed with accessibility a priority and there is disabled parking outside.

Inside 360 we have a regular unisex disabled toilet and separate male and female disabled use shower and changing facilities. We have beach suitable wheelchairs available for use which are provided by City and County of Swansea. We also welcome guide and other assistance dogs.
