This secluded valley is a beautiful, tranquil place to visit surrounded by 500 acres of woodland, you may often find you have the whole valley to yourself. It has an eerie and ancient feel and has been populated since ancient times.Walk up the Parc Cwm Valley and explore the Parc Cwm long cairn. Otherwise known as the Parc le Breos burial chamber, the Parc Cwm long cairn is a partly restored megalithic chambered long barrow. Further up the valley are the Cathole Cave and Llethryd tooth cave, which have been used from Mesolithic to Medieval times.
